I recently went home to Hong Kong for the first time in 3 years for… a day.
24 hours with my awesome parents, our family helmed by my stylin’ mum.

Picking me up from the airport. Mum hates candids. She’s trying to look elegant and animated while pointing her ‘don’t you dare’ finger at me.

We ate at Pizza Hut because whenever anyone goes home, we revert back to childhood. Too bad I didn’t get any crayons or pogs to play with.

I know you’re all going to say that I look a lot like my mum. In Chinese, the term is “behng yun”, which literally means biscuit print, well, cookie cutter. Making babies with the same mold as the parent! I am a cookie. I want cookies. Caveacookiepreeznowpreez?

CUTE!!

Mum’s the boss. She prefers the whole family to be colour co-ordinated, it’s very pre-Victoria-Beckham.
Here we are at a yum cha restaurant. I won’t be there to celebrate Mothers’ Day with her this year but if I could I’d probably bring her to Leanne’s restaurant, The Cardinal,

for
Mothers’ Day Brunch!

Site recently re-invigorated by my handsome #BoweryBF, T.C. Meggs!
HAPPY MOTHERS’ DAY TO ALL THE LOVELY MOMMIES OUT THERE!

Here we are, waiting for the rapture. What started as a sunny Saturday in Manhattan, started getting all kinds of scary. Luckily, we heathens managed to avoid all the rain and wrathiness with our perfect timing.
