G-Shock collaboration with Krink – the DW-6900KR-8JR.

Launched with an art exhibit by Craig Costello at 18 Wooster – Spray Paint the Walls.

With Wendy Lam [nitrolicious.com], recently connected with her again in NYC for the first time in years.
Known this little miss for over a decade! Looking like a cutie pie in her American Apparel wool cape.

Susie G with her new 21 Jump Street bob haircut and friend, Clay Murphy.

I miss wearing these sequined shorts. Always accessorize with psychosis.

Lucky number 3.

Adorable baby girl. Have been noticing a lot of parents in the art crowd bringing their kids along. Coolest toddlers ever.

Band of beer.

CREEP killing it with their performance. Moody and enchanting within the painted space.

Lauren Dillard of CREEP. Skeleton leggings? Yes!

Yes.

Kevin Leong [Fold Your Paper] and his baby, Change the Pomeranian. She was fresh out from the groomers. Can’t handle the cute.

Susie G shooting Soba Eshima from alife.

According to Susie G, we had infiltrated Babe Fort Knox that evening. Mmhmm.

A hint of Spring in New York City!
Fully taking advantage of the, er, 50 degree weather and pretending it’s warm under the sun.
Trying really hard to be obnoxiously cute and charming.

Skirts and sunnies on. Paperbag potato knish and a bottle of vanilla cream soda. Cream soda is for charming days only, most charming of all sodas.

Had my hair high up in a ponytail, low maintenance for a lazy afternoon. Walked from the Lower East Side through Soho to Rare Salon in Tribeca for my free blow out.

Greeted by publicist, Vanessa, and, stylist Tammy.

Jeallie of Vanessa’s nails.

Hair treatment and scalp massage. Total pretty pretty princess day mode.
Ballet pink pumps, ballet pink petticoat, ballet pink pinkeverything.

My hair looks so long from here!

Done! Met celebrity stylist and founder of Rare Salon, Ruth Roche, and principal stylist of Rare by FS Charlie, Fatima Sheikh.
Hung out in their gorgeous space and chatted about the laid-back, chic, lounge-about culture at Rare.

Fatima goes to the same nail girl as Vanessa. Want. To. Indulge.

My stylist, Tammy, was so very lovely! She’s lived in the UK, Oz and New Zealand.
What a mish-mash of accents, had so much fun just chatting to her.

Aaah good hair days…
AM I CHARMING YET?
Am I a pretty pretty princess? Oh pretty pretty please?
Thanks Rare Salon! <3 <3 <3

After about a year of nomadic living, with nary a familiar stylist in sight… I finally got a haircut!
Almost an entire foot lopped off my ass-length, distressed hair.

So, whaddya think?
It’s definitely looking a lot less limp and scraggly. However, the dry, cold weather of New York, and months of split ends have not been kind. Thankfully, my girl Vanessa [rawthentix], is hooking me up with a treatment and blow out at Rare Salon!
I’ll let you know how it goes next week. For now, they have a special March blow-out sale – check it out below.

Treat yourself, March birthday partiers or before a big date!

Miss Wax and Vanessa Diaz bka Lady Ness of rawthentix.com collaborated and celebrated their two piece jewellery line last week at a smashing party in Tribeca.

Held at the Rare by Ruth Roche salon, I got to catch up with Ness amidst her designer-hostess-PR-machine-bartender duties.

The accessory – a studded leather shoulder piece with multi-width, cross-body chains add a pop of punk royale to any basic outfit.
I, of course, was enamoured with the mini cupcake spread by Glittle Cupcakes.

Paul [Lavish-Livez.com] and his bespectacled girlfriend were also in attendance.

I met the vivacious and lovely Ashley at a brunch a while ago and she wore the same block-lettered DOPE necklace. Love! She happens to be a stylist at Rare salon, someone remind me to give her a call, I need about a foot lopped off of my hair!

Miss Yvonne Kai flitted about leaving a suitor waiting in the wings like wallflower.

I ate more cupcakes. Red velvet, my fave.
