You can basically measure how much I love you by:
1) how tall above 6 feet you stand and
2) how many photos I take of you
Sam is/has plenty of both – through virtually no contribution of her own except being born’d this way – so I must really love her.
Here she is being forced to stand tall in front of things while I take photos of her.

I love you a lot, Spock.

I recently went home to Hong Kong for the first time in 3 years for… a day.
24 hours with my awesome parents, our family helmed by my stylin’ mum.

Picking me up from the airport. Mum hates candids. She’s trying to look elegant and animated while pointing her ‘don’t you dare’ finger at me.

We ate at Pizza Hut because whenever anyone goes home, we revert back to childhood. Too bad I didn’t get any crayons or pogs to play with.

I know you’re all going to say that I look a lot like my mum. In Chinese, the term is “behng yun”, which literally means biscuit print, well, cookie cutter. Making babies with the same mold as the parent! I am a cookie. I want cookies. Caveacookiepreeznowpreez?

CUTE!!

Mum’s the boss. She prefers the whole family to be colour co-ordinated, it’s very pre-Victoria-Beckham.
Here we are at a yum cha restaurant. I won’t be there to celebrate Mothers’ Day with her this year but if I could I’d probably bring her to Leanne’s restaurant, The Cardinal,

for
Mothers’ Day Brunch!

Site recently re-invigorated by my handsome #BoweryBF, T.C. Meggs!
HAPPY MOTHERS’ DAY TO ALL THE LOVELY MOMMIES OUT THERE!

Went with Destinee to Mindshare LA’s The Vast Blue event at The Alexandria.

Really great speakers centered around under the sea topics: James Cameron’s Titanic filming expeditions, sustainable sushi, and sea cucumber sex habits!

Destinee was there putting in hours practising nail art.

Little Octopus!! Too cute.

Found Nemo.

Pattern inspiration

Finally my turn to get my nails did!

Fat Joe once said “tattoo in your chest with his name in the middle”… what about his name on my middle finger? Does that still count?

What’s Luv? Got to do, got to do widdit, babe?

Dee, Kirsten, and Daniel Bedingfield. Remember that guy? Remember when Natasha Bedingfield was Daniel Bedingfield’s sister and now it’s totally the other way around? Whappened?

Super Tall Paul is supes amaze. He plays and you listen via headphones only.

Curious Josh, the event photographer, trying hard to get a serious phote of Destinee. Not gonna happen.

We had too much fun trying to make balloon animals and hats. Took a million self-timer shots of us wearing balloon everythings in front of the Range Rover but they all turned out too blurry. Wamp wamp.

So I’ll leave you with this. Huzzah.

Avoided Green Day: American Idiots (St. Patrick’s Day) by going to The Be Beautiful Project at Papillion Institute of Art

A group exhibit by contemporary women artists in LA sponsored by Social Butterfly consulting care of birthday girl, Shawanna Davis.

Photos, paintings, video, and a live performance right in DTLA.

Destinee participated as the event’s nail artist.

So amazing to see her doing her thing.

Interested in booking an appointment? E-mail me and I’ll send you her way.

Bumped into my colleague Kris Simms rocking bright yellow with Taye Hansberry from stuffshelikes.net

Taye’s Marni x H&M score.

Destinee even got Taye’s url on her nails!

I got an iPhone recently, while I’m waiting for my custom gelaskin to arrive, I’m eyeing everyone else’s cases. Aja’s leopard print purse case = bling bling money ain’t a thang. LOVE.

Gift bags from Milani cosmetics.

Purple lipgloss. It’s happening.
BE BEAUTIFUL!

Are you on Pinterest?
What do you think of it?
Just another place to duplicate and dump your favourite images? Kinda like Tumblr but organized?
Remember that part in ‘The Secret’ where the dude was all “I cut out a picture of my dream house and put it on a vision board oh AND NOW I LIVE IN IT, BITCHES!”?
Let’s see how all of our Pinterest boards manifest…
Psst if you feel like gifting me anything from my pins that’s like totally ok.

Story of my life. I guess I have a ton of white girl problems even though I’m yellow.

Book release party for White Girl Problems by the trio that is Babe Walker. Everyone I know was there so it was a grand slam time.

Milk Studio’s babliest babe, Jessica Conatser.

Ubiquitous. Kept drinking greyhounds redubbed Size Zeros. (But like what if I’m a double zeroooooo… #whitegirlproblems. Jay. Kay. I’m like a size 10. PERFECT 10.)

Justin Bridges tweeted “Reunited and it feels so good” MMHMM!

Most precious duo, Small Girls PR‘s Mallory and Bianca. Ok it’s a party now. Offish.

Chris Reed and Izzy Tuason doing what they do best.

FAKE HIGH FIVING! Well, it’s always fake for Chris because he’s 70 feet tall.

Sigh* bassists… heartthrob, Kyle McCammon, making my heart skip a beat.

B the Great and his Aussie blogger friend, Tom Jackson. Is everything coming up Australian these days? Are Australians the new Asians? (Never.)

Dance party time.

My phone died so I had to stop drunk texting and focus on dancing to Mia Moretti mixes with Susie G.
Who’s ready for a Milk Made fashion week?
#WHITEGIRLPROBLEMS, amirite?

New Year’s Eve with the loveliest of ladies at Leanne’s restaurant, The Cardinal.

We drank all we could, no problem.

Leanne Hebert-Nguyen – 22 years old and the most effervescent restaurateur in East Village. We’re so proud of you, our gorgeous girl! This is your year.

Laurel, Ioana, and Kelly.

Chef Curtis Brown donning a different hat.

I know, right? Every single bite will having you exhaling ‘oh. my. god.’

Best fried chicken you’ll ever have in your entire life. Real talk.

Obviously, we drank in moderation.

Dream girl.

Dunzo.
Now your turn.
